Breathtaking

A breathtaking afternoon visiting the poppies in Hull before viewing the Skin exhibition where I got to see some work of one of my favourite sculptors, Ron Mueck. The level of detail and the realism took my breath away. I was definitely in genuine awe of his skill and artistry.
We visited a friend for a good catch up and coffee before heading for tea. A wrong turning had us laughing as my friend had promised a 'nice lunch venue'- I didn't expect I'd need to take a flask and a pasty! (Additional).
We then headed to the city, The Other Half, a friend and I to celebrate our friend's upcoming birthday- the intention was to go for a 'couple'. We got home at 3:30am!
