The Trials

The Scottish Six Day Trials start on Monday and a sort of gala type procession takes place down the Fort William High Street. The large West End Car Park in the town is given over to the event. The actual bikes are parked up there at the end of each day and there are dozens of vendors' caravans and tents set up selling essential spare parts, tyres and lubricants. Our friend C, after years of participating as an event supervisor/marshall, has for the first time entered the competition. I hope it goes well for him.
