City of Culture 2017

Had my first visit to this years City if Culture...Hull. What a fantastic job they have done, it has a fantastic vibe about the place. The SKINS exhibition at the Ferens gallery is amazing, the sea of blue pieces were fantastic as well as the Ron Mueck, well worth a visit. 
Unfortunately as we left, my aunt took a fall trying to get into the car, so the rest of the day has been spent in A&E getting aunty plastered after a really bad break of her wrist. 
This shot is one of Hulls architectural gems, not sure which building it is, but looked very imposing. Also took yet more shots of Poppies weeping from the Maritime museum, which is also well worth a visit. 
There just so much to see and do in Hull at the moment, will definitely be going back for another look. :)
