Bluebells

It was lovely bank holiday weather today and this afternoon I did a bit of gardening. I potted up some geraniums, petunias and lobelias and they are all now safely tucked up in the greenhouse in case of frost.

This morning some fitters came to replace the manky old carpet in Mary's room with lovely new laminate - this has transformed her room. I thought it would be a good idea to wash her curtains - unfortunately they shrunk.

Mary and I went to IKEA and bought a lovely brightly coloured rug for her room. We also decided to have a spot of lunch, along with most of Edinburgh who had the same idea
