The Goldfinch

A day of cleaning - the house was minging. Downstairs looks much better now, especially after yet another round of furniture rearranging! I even did the ironing!

I spotted this little goldfinch in the garden as I cooked tea and grabbed the zoomy lens before it flew off - didn't get a chance to open a window though. I did read the book a while back - really didn't understand the fuss over it and wish I'd given up on it rather than perservering to the end.

MrRoly returns to working UpCountry this week. I feel it may be a long few days.
