After spending most of the day in a state of utter torpor, hardly able to keep my eyes open or drag myself about, I made the wise decision to go to the Headland to get blasted by the easterly wind and to see the Very Big Ship that was bringing the Brent Delta platform in for recycling. As you can see - or not - it was barely visible in the fret that was swirling around about a mile offshore. Then I decided to see whether the kittiwakes have returned yet, and indeed they have (see extra), and then my camera battery ran out of charge. Much like me. Never mind, lots more to see on another day, when we've both got more energy.
