Chilled out Saturday

Today Boyfriend and I have had a totally chilled out Saturday. Life has been hectic the past few weeks and we have spent very little time on our own. So today was a day for
Just us.

We had a long lie which was bliss, followed by a special breakfast and a lazy morning. We headed out for a bit in the afternoon to the fishmongers to get supplies for dinner. I love the fishmongers they have a huge tank full of lobsters, one day we might buy one as a special treat but not today. We bought some oysters, mussels and cruvettes.

We then went for a look round Ocean Terminal and to Asda. Both were very busy and I was glad to get home. We chilled out on the balcony for a bit with a glass of wine, Holly dog joined us and was ever hopeful of getting a crisp!

We then began to prepare dinner, this resulted in disaster :-(. Poor boyfriend cut open his finger while preparing the oysters :-/. There was lots of blood and I really thought a trip to A&E was on the cards! We managed to patch him up though and I finished preparing dinner. We then enjoyed dinner and chilled out.

We had a lovely day even if poor boyfriend is a bit worse for wear.

Today is also Mum Mouse's 60th birthday. We celebrated with her last week so today she had a nice meal with Dad Mouse. Happy Birthday Mum, love you!!!
