The Internet of Things.....

......er, but this would be the meancoast version. Between us siblings we keep an eye on the contents of our Ma's fridge. My bro does most of the ready meal procurement process, he texts me or posts in our 'secret' FB group, snappily called 'We need to talk about Mother' (she knows about it but definitely isn't a member;-)), I write the relevant details down on a scrap of paper (that the cats obviously walk over) and then I use the landline to nag her which meal to eat (and when) according to 'use by' dates......thank goodness we don't have to rely on carrier pigeons and a pimply lad on a butchers bike eh?

Update on yesterdays 'silent calls'......had another 3 this morning followed by one purporting to be from 'The Telephone Management System' (SCAM ALERT!).....so it was obviously just a coincidence.....NOT!!
