Tapai
Tapai (ta-pie) or tape (ta-peh), sometimes referred to as peuyeum (from Sundanese language).
It is snack produced from the fermentation process of carbohydrate foods as the substrate by yeast. In Indonesia and neighboring countries, this substrate is usually cassava and glutinous rice tubers.
There are several types of tapai, namely tapai cassava, tapai uli, black sticky tapai.
