Walk to Puig d'Ofre

We were a bit late getting started for our walk starting at Cuber Reservoir. We walked along one side of it, then climbed a steep 2,000ft to the summit of Puig d'Ofre, from where we got stunning views. We could see Soller the the port in one direction, (just out of shot of the left of Carol. The reservoir, our start, is on the right, far below. We could see to Palma in the other direction almost to Pollensa right up the coast.

The hills round Alero looked quite close but the roads are so twisty it will take longer than we think to get there for another walk we hope to take. #3 daughter has recommended the famous lamb restaurant there.

I have made a chorizo casserole which we are about to eat. We are ravenous - the walk was only 7 miles but we did have a bit of scrambling.
