Hey, Hey, Baby

Took Arya along to Turriff today. The plan was to go to what was Williamson's Garden centre. I know it had closes, but the cafe and play area is still in business.
How sad to see when we got there it had been rebranded as an 'American Style Diner' using  big M of MacDonalds as the logo for it's Burgers, but a different letter, the same colour and idea though.
It was closed, it only opens Thursday through Sunday. DOnt know if I want to spend my money in a place that used to serve good home cooked food, to catering for the brainless substitute of burgers. Nothing against good burgers, but...
So we went back into to the town and had coffee and a sandwich at Celebrations before going down to the Haugh, so Arya could spend some time on the pretty, good play park.
The boating pond is closed, presumably due to the batch of baby ducks therein.
It was a choice between this picture and one of an unusually non perturbed heron that was quite content to meander about the small pond searching for food despite the close proximity of humans, and some  young gulls landing in the water.
The 'AW' factor won.
