Invalid

Poor Basil. He's been limping really badly since first thing this morning to the extent that he's going round on three legs rather than four and wobbling a lot. We don't really know what the problem is but the vet thinks it's most probably an infection in the toe area. Hopefully it is anyway. He's had a painkiller injection and has a week's course of antibiotics and we'll see how it goes. Meanwhile he's getting lots of fuss and carries.
