Survived another one!

General anaesthetic - or rather the horribleness of coming out of GA. bleurgh.

Am now home. Two weeks to get results. I have had a microlaryngoscopy and a biopsy of the base of my tongue. To say my mouth is sore would be an understatement.

Voice rest until Thursday afternoon then I have to start getting back to normal, without shouting, whispering, singing or clearing my throat.

Going to sleep the sleep of the anaesthetised tonight. After a big bowl of ice cream.
