Coincidental curtains and cushions

I have a cushion cover in the same material as N's kitchen curtains. He said that the fabric was bought in Perth. I bought my cushion in a charity shop in Musselburgh. He asked if my cushion cover was handmade. This I did not know. I checked when I got home though - judging by this stitching I think he may be right .....
