It's another DellCon - the 4th of 3.  It's all rather a long story but we've found ourselves holding an extra boardgaming weekend over the bank holiday.  

This is why my blipping has been a bit quite for a few days - initially the preparation and rushing to get the Green Room ready (-ish, OK, so the en-suite doesn't have a door but it's only M staying in there this weekend!).  After that, there are cities to build and cakes to serve. 

And naff phone photos in too little light; excuse the filterisms :)

Terra Mystica is a game that's been around for a few years and people rave about it but I'd never played it.  I got the opportunity to play this evening and did tolerably well if I recall correctly (this is a backblip).

It's one of what are called asymmetrical games. While the basic rules are the same for everyone, each player plays with a different slight advantage.
