Amaryllis

During the last week, while our family have been with us on their holiday from the USA, ......the back garden has been left to its own devices.......except when our grandchildren were playing there.

This is the first of our Amaryllis bulbs to burst into a fabulous , deep red flower.....there are more buds almost ready to flower.....
the bulbs are in pots, and have been outside in the back garden, throughout the winter.
