This One Was In the House......

Last week I posted an ugly, red bug, that was identified by an entomologist at the Univ. of Fla. as an Assassin Bug.   This bug was in the house, in the dog's water bowl.
The professor told me that this bug is a blood sucker, will bite with pincers in the mouth that are sharp and feel like a bee sting.  They are in Florida, and they are not a nice bug!
The red bug last week was a nymph, molting it's hard outer shell.  This bug has the black outer shell, with wings.  The 2 shiny spots on the head are the eyes, white from the light.  In last weeks post, the eyes were black.
Needless to say, it's dead now!
