WhiskyFoxtrot

Another day of exploring Edinburgh with WhiskyFoxtrot www.blipfoto.com/WhiskyFoxtrot What's not to love?

We walked another 12k around the city today and it was all great fun. The day began with another quick trip to Stockbridge before heading to Bruntsfield for a mega-brunch which set us up for the rest of the day but didn't prevent a visit to Mary's Milk Bar later in the day for some excellent ice cream!

WhiskyFoxtrot is an excellent tour guide and conversationalist. We spent a lot of time this weekend discussing my work situation, the political situation both North and South of the border and the likely results of the upcoming election. Everything feels very precarious at the moment. And, as if to illustrate that point, we even bumped into former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alastair Darling, out electioneering with Scotland's only remaining Labour MP, Ian Murray.

When we needed a good sit down we went back to the Cameo to see another film... 'Their Finest' was altogether less harrowing than 'Lady Macbeth' but I still shed a few tears!

There was also time for an impromptu Blipmeet with Jon_Davey www.blipfoto.com/Jon_Davey on the bus back to Portobello!

Today's tune is by The Cardigans and will remind me that WhiskyFoxtrot broke into some spontaneous dance moves when it came on the playlist at her favourite cafe today! www.youtube.com/watch?v=NI6aOFI7hms

Thanks again to WFT for an excellent weekend. I hope she'll visit Liverpool soon!

And thanks to everyone for your support. It's very much appreciated.
