Deep pockets
After Mrs Rex had visited her aunt in the care home we took a late run along to Limekilns in the wee car. Too cold and windy to drop the top but we still managed a walk along the promenade without suffering wind chill. Lots of sailors seemed to be ignoring the chill and happy to feel the wind in their sails.
If you have the correct clothing it seems that you can survive most things. Just ask the surfer that was rescued after 32 hours clinging to his surf board in the sea off the coast of Argyll.
