Ken, meet Katherine

I've been trying to get Ken along to one of Katherine's gigs at Jazz After Dark on a Tuesday night for ages. Tonight I was successful and was so pleased he enjoyed himself.

Even Ian had fun!

Not only does Katherine have a huge talent as a singer but she can also hold a room like no other. The delight of this venue is that it's very small so she gets to know everybody (and so do we). Ken is from Japan. The couple next to me from Israel and a family group from Catalonia really rocked the room.
