Basket of quinces

I have a flowering quince bush which has become a bit of a prickly, self propagating pest but it does produce spectacular red flowers in the depths of winter and these fruits in autumn. Braving the prickles to collect the fruits was a risky business but the harvest amounted to several kilos. Now I just have to decide how to use them - quince liquor was an interesting experiment once before.
