What a day
The day started off well. I had an appointment in town and hubby had a few things to sort out, so he dropped me off he went on his way. After my appointment I started walking home, I tried to contact hubby but no answer so I assumed he was driving. The sky started to get darker. I considered a song taew, he wanted twice the price. I kept walking. The sky got darker, I heard a rumble. As I reached home the rain started. No hubby. We were going out for an early dinner with friends and as it was now 3.45 I didn't think he'd be far behind me. At 4.30 he finally contacted me. Earlier in the day he had inadvertently brought the car boot down on his car keys, it had set the alarm off, it kept going, after some button pressing and turning the engine on everything seemed ok. However, when he was out he had problems, ultimately finding that he could not easily unlock the car, this was the same time that the rain came down. He finally managed to manually unlock the door and then decided that he should go and see our friend whom we bought the car off and get some advise. An auto electrician was sought. The circuit board in the key was damaged, some soldering took place and everything seems ok. By this time we were forced to cancel dinner and ended up having a late dinner very close to home. The restaurant has a garden setting and the orchids are looking very pretty at the moment.
