Siamangs

During our visit to Western Plains Zoo we heard these guys from a kilometre away. Siamangs are a gibbon from Malaysia, Thailand and Sumatra. They maintain bonds and establish territories with athletic displays of running and swinging through trees while howling in harmony. A spectacular show for the fifteen minutes or so it lasted.
