Tearing it up

Following yesterday's trip to the hardware store, I set to work ripping out the carpet in the baby's room. We had no idea what state the floors would be in but Nikki crossed her fingers whilst I armed myself with a Stanley knife. Sure enough we exposed a beautiful, albeit very dirty, hardwood floor. Next up, sanding the beast.

I also modelled our house in 3D today so we could 'virtually' move furniture around the house without doing the heavy lifting. Once I've gone into a little more detail, I may just post a few screenshots.

The baby's mural has also gone through its first pass. I guess I should start painting before I polish the floors...
