Prickenis - Klein Gitsbach

Already in the 14th century, the Prick family had the knights, large 58 bunders surrounded by ponds, but it is still unclear when exactly.

The fact that the territory was called a Knight's Estate meant that the lord of the castle, provided that nobility was allowed to attend the Land of Valkenburg.
Certainly, Coen Prick, who was from 1509-1512 Aachen ships, had to be in charge of the Leenhof in Valkenburg just before 1400. The size can be booked as five hooves, located "so Geijsbach". Later it was named "Klein Gei (t) sbach", presumably to distinguish the nearby Gitzbach (also known as the Struyver house).

The Prick family continued to live in the 15th century. In 2000, a seal stamp of Peter Prick van Geysbach was found in the former canal of Prickenis, which as such appears in an act of 1476.
