Pink beauty!

Our house is rarely without flowers and these beautiful Gerbera's were a gift from friends who came to lunch last Sunday, they also brought two bottles of wine..........good friends!!
When we lived in Leiden in The Netherlands, every Saturday we would wait until the market was dismantling for the day and the 'flower stall' holders sold whatever remained at silly prices, often we bought a couple of dozen roses or tulips for next to nothing. We loved our time in Leiden and could have happily stayed there longer.
