How did you get up there?

A well known Newcastle landmark, often blipped, but perhaps not often with that colour of sky. A really lovely day. We took the train from Alnmouth to Newcastle and what a difference it was standing on the platform in the sunshine - last week we were freezing and there was ice on the steps.
 
I went to a lecture (we are reading Dante – challenging, but fascinating); Gordon went to the Gym. Lunch at Carluccio’s and back to Alnmouth on the train.
 
A lovely afternoon by the sea – calm and quiet after the wild waves and Bank Holiday crowds.
 
And yes, there are people up there – we didn’t know you could get up and one of us (not me!) is now trying to find out how . . . !
