The Other Election

Tonight is the head-to-head Presidential debate in France. Macron is polling better (it's 60/40 among those who have expressed a preference) but apparently nearly 20% of voters are undecided or plan to abstain. I don't much like those odds... after Brexit and Trump I'm hoping that France sees sense.

I read today that I'm currently in the only French region where the Front National are in the lead! This is supposed to be a Macron poster but it's been ripped off and replaced with anti-Macron graffiti. As I took this photo I overheard a passing young (mixed race) woman tell her friends she was voting Le Pen :-/

Come on France, do the right thing...
