Thrusting skywards......

.......& I have a particular 'thing' about this plant. It's picturesque & evil at the same time - those spikes. Took this in a friend's garden this morning.

Spent afternoon trying to sort my watercolours as I need some & it'd be good if I actually knew their names, not 'oh, I'm using that one there......'!!
