Dancing in the Street

After a night of little sleep on a deflated airbed and being woken at 6.30am I thought it was going to be a very long and potentially hungover day but it wasn't so bad, thanks to Aunty Sandra.

She took Miss A and Little D to Gullane beach and they splashed around in the sea and collected shells. As always, they had great fun and having Sandra's dog Rex there just makes it all the more exciting. I managed a couple of hours' sleep before their return thankfully.

After dinner, the kids took to the street to say goodbye to Aunty Sandra - Little D in nothing more than a nappy, Miss A half dressed and with one of her signature looks, odd shoes (an army boot/peppa pig flip flop combo).

Ah, to be so carefree!
