Hogweed

I was out early with the dogs - and spotted the sun on the side of this hogweed plant - I liked the way the hairs were lit up against the dark red stem.

Home for breakfast and news that our son’s plane had landed an hour early - must have caught a good draught back over the Atlantic. Milo was ‘packed’ up and we headed off to Leeds train station to collect him….sadly whilst he was away his account was cleared out by fraudsters and his cards were stopped by the bank so he had no money to get home (fortunately he had a return train ticket from Manchester).

Milo settled in back at home and I took our son off to the supermarket to buy him some food - and left him with a wad of cash to get by until he can sort out his accounts.

This afternoon I popped in to to Mrs madwill’s studio to fit some new taps on the ‘kitchen’ sink - took about an hour - then home for another sleep catchup!

For tea I have made Meatballs in spicy tomato sauce with spiralised courgette and butternut squash..spaghetti substitute!
