Promises ...

... Made to be kept.

The Silver Saxifrages - with their fleshy, lime encrusted leaves - are just beginning to flower.  They start with the bud at the apex of the stem but there is the promise of many more flowers to come :-)  Watch this space.

Work this morning but before cooking tea I was able to finish turning my biggest .... and heaviest ... trough through ninety degrees.  Far too heavy to lift but it's amazing what you can do with a couple of logs and a bit of ingenuity :-)
