East Lothian Skyscape

It's amazing that the drama of these cirrus clouds can totally dominate an image even to the extent of drowning the stark yellow of rape fields. If you look closely you can see North Berwick Law and even Bass Rock on the horizon but these are mere punctuation marks in a sentence  about the glory of the sky. 

Having had a rather dreary day yesterday in which the cloud layer did not lift, it was all the more wonderful to be basking in these gorgeous skies today. This was looking north but if I turned my camera southwards there was not a bit of drama in the sky just a bland cyan outlook uninformed by any cloud formations.
