What a day!

Oh dear.
Spent an enormous amount of time today sitting in very slow moving traffic.
Never has it taken me so long to do such a relatively short and easy journey.

What can normally be done in not much more than 30 minutes took well over 3 hours.
Road works?
No.
Accident?
No.
Just volume of traffic.

I think everybody north of Watford was trying to get on this route this afternoon.
Them and about 3 million tractors with a variety of spikey things attached to them, hurtling down the road like Queen Boudicca. It's impossible not to breathe in when they rattle by... like that will stop them opening the side of your car like a tin opener!

So, got there in the end and it was pretty good... the air display, that is.

Waited a long time to see the Vulcan.
Yes, I know this isn't the Vulcan, but I quite like this one anyway.

And I'm still not sure how the Vulcan can be so big and fly soooo slow, but it really did have us all mesmerised as it went backwards and forwards up and down the beach.

Then before we knew it, it was time for us all to get back into our cars again and make the same long journey home!
