Kimberleys - King George Falls

Our second day on board the Kimberley Quest, took us a few kilometers up the King George River where we moored just shy of the twin King George Falls. Some hardy folk climbed to the top the following morning. I chose to go in the dinghy looking for birdlife.
We were lucky enough to take the helicopter flight over the river, to the Timor Sea and over the amazing terrain. The pilot removed the door for me!! I must say my hands were a bit sweaty as all that held me and the camera in was a normal car lap belt. Not even a cross the chest safety belt!! When he banked left..............well, you can imagine!!!! 
I didn't see much birdlife but I will add another "local"  ;)  Look in "LARGE!!
