Monthly Meitheal

I can't believe a month has passed already since the last Meitheal, our working group, where we go to each others places and help with something that needs doing!
Today we were at Mike and Madelines, they have a great business called Brown Envelope Seeds, they grow and save the seeds of many heritage vegetable varieties. They sell the seeds mail order for any gardeners out there.
Today we plucked broadbean pods from their stalks, then podded them ready for bagging up. I was quite relieved todays task was not too demanding as I've been working hard this past week, both at the shop and at home, so we sat, chatted, drank lots of tea, ate cake and had an enormous bucket of beans to show for our work!
