Industrial North

I traveled up to Sheffield this afternoon, ready for a cataloguing conference that starts tomorrow. The train stopped next to this bit of iron, so I got my camera out. I have no idea what or where it is, but it is my visual description of the industrial north.

Those of us who have arrived early met up at a local hostelry for a bite to eat and a quick drink. It is the local student pub apparently, which I could tell by the price of a glass of wine - £1.90 - did you ever hear of such a thing?!
