What's outside my window?

The walk up the 36 steps to my door is worth the effort when we have a view like this.  We look over the top of the hospital and the 'shopping mall' and out across the Firth of Thames towards Miranda, which has a delightful hotpool and a Shorebird Centre , and Kaiaua which is quite famous for it's fish and chips. 
Teach is still away on camp...it is lovely having the house to myself but do look forward to him being here tomorrow night.
