LOOK AT ALL THIS OVER HERE SAM.....

... had need to prepare a few things in Penrith today, so of course made sure had time to visit the mighty Nepean River.

It was a dull coolish day and not much doing!

Although did find a group of Eurasian Coots  (in extra) walking on water and having a race across the river. Found in my bird ID book that they "chase, patter and skitters low across surface leaving long trail of splashes" 
Quite funny to see, and then find they were getting clear of some kayakers who later came along the river.

Obviously the nectar in these wild flowers was very sweet as the bees were really on the move filling up.
