Hair of the dog and Roast Beef

A slow start to the day although the catch up on sleep was welcome. Felt rough, but there is no better way to recover than wine with friends in the sunshine followed by the best roast dinner - 6 empty plates the proof of this.

Then onto my sisters to fulfill the pinky promise of a bedtime story for Kai. They had been to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, so he managed to extend his bedtime with talk of all the animals seen and of a Tapir peeing on Esmé. Then followed a chapter of Don Quixote ..... followed by another chapter of Don Quixote - I just can't say no to him!
