were high and dry. Have often reached this point to find the water too high and have had to retreat, a long way back!
A glorious day again, temperatures in the 20s again.
Oystercatchers were sitting tight on their nests, too hot to be bothered to move. Curlew and Lapwings were nesting too. The deer are being secretive, probably with young now.
A great walk.
