Illusion

I know it's just a carpet, but I went this morning to smooth it down, as it looked as if it was wrinkled.

In fact it was the sun shining through the horizontal blinds creating shadows on the rug. As you can see, the bit in shadow is perfectly straight!

It was such a strong illusion...
