Keeping cool!

A chilly start to the morning but the sun quickly caused a rise in temperature but it did nothing to reduce the strength of the wind.

A quick visit to the loch this morning to check on the youngsters. The two Greylag families are staying together, four adults and nine goslings .... safety in numbers is their motto I think.

When I spotted the CanadaCanada goose family there were five goslings but when I saw them later there were only four ... I guess one of the gulls had a feast .... sad, but that's life in the wild.
