Water Party

Naturally being a Bank Holiday today was freezing cold and cloudy.
That didn't deter the Little Misses from setting up a fabulous water party in the garden.
First we had a water balloon hunt. Mr K and I had not donned swimming attire so the Little Misses thought it was hilarious watching us dodge the sprinkler as we hunted for our balloons!
Then it was Chuck-the-Water-Balloon-Against-the-Wall which was fun. Miss L kept dropping hers before managing to throw it which was very funny! Mummy had a very impressive throw and managed to burst the balloons very dramatically!
Then there was some sprinkler action and then - the best game of all - Mummy and Daddy chasing the Little Misses round the garden with filled balloons, getting points for squirting them. Brilliant!!!
While they warmed up snorkelling in the bath I headed over to B&Q to pick up some yellow paint to finish off Miss L's room and two bags of compost, a couple of rosemary plants, some geraniums and another floor tile.
Then it was home to make a start on painting the downstairs loo. 
A proper Bank Holiday!!
