Carlisle to Settle and beyond

Rail trip for mums birthday today (it's actually Saturday but I'll be working). We took a Dales Ranger ticket and headed off to Skipton for lunch.I was going to blip Ribble Head Viaduct but the curve of it meant I could only fit in 3 arches. I'd taken an earlier photo through the train window so decided to blip that instead and I think I can count it as a 'What's Outside My Window' challenge, not sure, but here goes. The country side was a great tonic and we'll go back and explore more off the beaten track another day. We had a pit stop at the Cake 'ole for lunch and headed home later to soak up the sunshine, views, oh and a gin and tonic on the way home for mum!
