Crows and counting

Several American or Black Crows visiting the backyard this week. They don't seem to be interested in the feeders, but they certainly pay attention to the seeds and nuts other birds know to the ground.

A great deal of rain falling and fallen in East Tennessee these past couple of weeks. Weather people tell us the years long drought that settled over East Tennessee and North Georgia is not official broken.

The flowers appreciate the wet, the birds appreciate the wet, and the fellow who cuts my lawn seems to appreciate the extra calls for his service.
