BRIDGE
Lazy morning then I was off to Newcastle to the theatre. I saw a play at the Live Theatre which is near The Quayside. The play was The Red Lion. " Set in the ultra- competitive twilight world of semi-professional football it was a powerful, touching and funny drama exploring contrasting ideas about loyalty and ambition from three different generations". Only 3 actors in the production - including Stephen Tompkinson who played DCI Banks in the TV series. The production lasted 1hr45mins with no interval so the momentum wasn't broken. The acting was excellent and the play held my attention throughout.
I went into the town centre after the theatre and mooched around Debenhams for a bit. Didn't buy anything - not even a handbag. Then to Tesco for some Sea Bream before coming home.
The weather today was very sunny and if you were indoors you would think it was a lovely day. However once outdoors it was quite chilly with a cold wind.
For Abstract Thursday I have done a bit of processing of a shot I took down on the Quayside of The Millennium Bridge over the River Tyne. ( I used HDR, Duo Tone and Posterise.) I like the way the clouds seem to look like countries on a weather map. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting the challenge.
