Three Sides of the Hat

In 4 weeks from Saturday, we are going to have a new daughter-in-law. My son Jeff is going to marry his fiancé Heather. They were both over last night, Jeff in a new dress hat.

"What's with the new hat?"

"It's my new style. That's not true, it's my hat for the Kentucky Derby party."

"What are you wearing Heather?"

"I don't know. I don't have one."

Well, now she does. I spent ALL day in my downstairs workshop...crafting this gourd hat.

Now, the question is...will she wear it? (I'm taking bets.)

I had the extra time because I didn't have to take my daughter Karen to the airport this morning. Her flight to South Carolina got cancelled. Since it is her birthday...it wasn't a very nice present from the airlines. (At least she didn't get carted off the plane.)
