The Mountaineer

Finn had decided that he wanted to get up to the top of a mountain and his grandmother was to be his guide. We decided to take advantage of the fact that his school was closed because of the elections, and the four of us set off for the Clwyds. After a rest for some food about half way up , I peeled off with his younger brother leaving Finn to progress up to the summit of Moel Famau, where some people there gave him a round of applause. He is still only 5. The summit is 1820 feet high.
