what we did today...

Gluten free

It's our SWI coffee eve, and one lady is gluten free so I thought it would be nice to make a selection of things for her. She usually has a very limited buffet plate. So I made some orange shortbread, cumin flatbreads and seeded twists. A mix of sweet and savoury. Sadly she wasn't feeling too well and so didn't turn up :-( if I knew her address I would pop them round as a nice treat for her. The evening went very well. We had some line dancers in to demo their steps and then teach us all a few moves.... I'll stick to running - it's a lot less complicated!

I'd managed to fit the baking around spending the day helping out at a school orienteering festival. The journey to and from was an experience! 50 ten year olds are very loud and very silly. They all had a great time out on the sunshine tho.
